At Adrop.ai we’re excited to share the latest from Taiko Labs: the launch of their Trailblazers program with a 12 million TAIKO prize pool! This initiative promises significant rewards for users and dApps for the first season (which will last for 3 months). But let’s quickly introduce the Taiko protocol.

Taiko is a secured and decentralized layer-2 scaling solution (also called a rollup) based on the Ethereum ecosystem. This protocol helps process transactions off-chain to reduce congestion on the network. Although they are currently based on the Ethereum ecosystem, they mentioned that more options will come soon.

They recently introduced Trailblazers, a loyalty program to reward their users and dApps. Do not hesitate to join as they insist on the fact that everyone is welcome as long as you use, learn, and explore their platform. All types of transactions will be rewarded, playing games, borrowing and lending, and others.

Here’s a breakdown of what to expect from their program:

How it Works

All on-chain activities will help users earn XP points (Experience Points). Activities include:

• Bridging ETH and ERC20 tokens
• Transaction volume on ETH & USDC
• Transaction count
• Block proposals
• Best performers devs/ dApps on the network will also be rewarded

Another exciting news is that there are some additional bonuses:

• Their alpha-1 NFT holders will get a 1.1x XP boost for the duration of their program
• Taikoon holders will get a 2x XP multiplier for holding all Faction badges
• Galxe participants will see their points converted to Trailblazers XP points (which can get up to 3 levels worth of XP)

Collecting different faction badges weekly will also help you earn XP multipliers, with a maximum of 2.14x if you gather all eight badges. The latter can also be traded.

Ranking Structure

As users will be earning points, there is also a ranking structure going from level 0 Beginner to level 14, their Legend level. They mentioned that reaching their highest levels isn’t the easiest thing, but you can get there by earning bonus points as seen earlier. You can also get there by interacting with their platform as much as you can. Varying the type of transactions could also help.  

Rewards for dApps

Ecosystem developers can compete too, in a different category. Their rankings will be based on:

• Tracking UAW (Unique Active Wallet)
• Total transactions
• Gas used
• TVL (Total Value Locked) (i.e., with pool systems, staking, etc)
• Being amongst the best performers (as seen above)

Other campaigns will run on the side for shorter periods. They mentioned that 2 Million TAIKO will be offered to the devs building on Taiko.

Claiming Your Rewards

To recap, 12 million TAIKO will be offered this season. 10 million will go to their on-chain users, of which 1 million will go to the top 2 levels of the season Legend (Level 14) and Densetsu (Level 13). And as mentioned above, 2 million will be allocated to the devs of the ecosystem.

At the end of each season, eligible users can claim their rewards within 30 days.
